IPA: /ˌriːɪnˈstɔːleɪʃən/
KK: /ˌriːɪnˈstɔːlˌeɪʃən/
The process of installing something again, usually software or a system, after it has been removed or has stopped working properly.
After the software crashed, I had to do a reinstallation to get it working again.
Reinstallation → It is formed from "re-" (meaning again) and "installare" (from Latin, meaning to place or set up). The word "reinstallation" means the act of placing or setting something up again.
Think of doing something 'again' ('re-') and 'setting it up' ('installare') — that's why reinstallation means to set something up again.
